Romeo & Juliet Related Research Synthesis in Web Page Product Each student will complete individual research using three sources (one book source as possible) with the Scrible tool and a Google Doc opened from the Scrible Classroom Assignments page to capture efficiently chosen quotations with comments to summarize, paraphrase, or quote from your sources on a given topic. A student’s topic will fit within a group of related topics to be showcased on an individual Google Site page within a group’s overall Site. All students will use their lanierhs.org G Suites account to share access within groups to Sites, Scrible, and Docs.
Final individual products will include no more than about 10 sentences--a short but informative and concentrated piece of writing (1 or 2 paragraphs) that weaves information from all three sources to answer research questions students devise about their topics. About three images should also be carefully chosen for the web page. A small section of the page will include MLA 8 Works Cited. Group topics and individual topics by class period can be viewed with this Google Sheets link.
Use this Google Doc to structure your Google Doc within Scrible. Find the specific Scrible class invite code here as well. Follow this link to see a basic model of a Google Site that features pages for each group member to create to host information found in individual research.
Resources for research: In addition to these specific sites, you may choose judiciously from other online sources.

- Webmaster (with help from group members) has made an attractive home page including a basic overview of the purpose and contents of the site. Include first names and last initials of group members and 2-3 images.
- Each individual topic page will have roughly two paragraphs of information from the three of more sources. Each paragraph should respond to one specific research and SYNTHESIZE information from various sources, meaning multiple sources supply the information to answer that question not just one.
